About the Artwork

There is an incredible, raw presence to an elephant, and the inspiration for this piece came directly from a powerful photograph I discovered who goes by the name of Rex/Shutterstock. The original image was so deeply moving and captivating that I knew I just had to try and capture that breathtaking essence myself.

With its commanding forward-facing gaze and flared ears, this portrait is a personal celebration of strength, ancient resilience, and the untamed beauty of wildlife.
